Valiant Hearts: The Great War

Valiant Hearts: The Great War is not what you expect when you think of great games about World War I. It is particularly light on gameplay and, even though you do drive a tank, blow up copious amounts of dynamite, throw grenades, and punch Germans, you never once shoot a gun or actually kill anyone. The game is really only a bit more than a puzzle game, but what it lacks in traditional war gameplay, it more than makes up for in story. Even with its highly stylized art style, it tells an incredibly emotional tale about life, love, loss, and the cost of war. It's a game I won't soon forget and one I think everyone should experience.
