I gave Nexomon: Extinction two solid tries - once for about 15 hours and another for a little over 20. Unfortunately, it's just boring. The battles are boring, the world is boring, and the story is boring. While the Nexomon designs themselves, at least some of them, are interesting, there is just nothing keeping me attached to them like other monster catchers I've played (Cassette Beasts for example). It doesn't help that you have a companion character that keeps breaking the fourth wall and telling you how dumb everything is. Maybe this game is for someone, but it isn't for me.
